Tim Evnin
Co-manager of the Evercore Equity Fund
Tim is the co-manager of the Evercore Equity Fund. He is a Partner and Equity Portfolio Manager at Evercore Wealth Management and the Chair of the Equity Selection Committee at the firm. He has 25 years of experience in managing balanced portfolios for high-net-worth clients, equity accounts for institutional clients, and equity mutual funds.
Tim joined Evercore Wealth Management in 2009. He was previously a Managing Director at U.S. Trust, and, following Bank of America’s acquisition of U.S. Trust in 2007, a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager with Columbia Management, where his group managed over $14 billion in assets.
Tim received his B.A. from Princeton University in 1987 and an M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1999. He is the President of the Mianus River Gorge Preserve and is on the board of the Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York.
Charles Ryan
Co-manager of the Evercore Equity Fund
Charlie is the co-manager of the Evercore Equity Fund. He is a Partner and Equity Portfolio Manager at Evercore Wealth Management and a member of the firm’s Equity Selection Committee.
Prior to joining Evercore Wealth Management in 2008, Charlie was a managing director and a market investment executive for U.S. Trust, a portfolio manager in the firm’s equity strategy group, and a member of the division’s Investment Policy Committee. He previously worked with BNY Asset Management, the institutional investment arm of The Bank of New York, where he was head of the equity division and co-manager of the bank’s largest mutual fund at the time, The Hamilton Equity Income Fund.
Charlie earned his B.A. from Villanova University. He serves on the advisory counsel for the undergraduate school of business at Villanova University. He is also a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, a former member of the board of trustees for The Rumson Country Day School, in Rumson, N.J. and a former member of the board of visitors for Worcester Academy in Worcester, MA.
Mike Seppelt
Portfolio Manager of the Evercore Equity Fund
Mike is a Portfolio Manager of the Evercore Equity Fund, as well as a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Evercore Wealth Management, and a member of the firm’s Equity Selection Committee. Mike has over 20 years of equity analysis and portfolio management experience.
Mike joined Evercore in September 2011 after 11 years as an investment principal and a portfolio manager at Lowry Hill. He previously worked at Wells Fargo Private Asset Management.
He received a B.A. in Economics and Computer Science at St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Mike is President of the Board of the Maple Grove Youth Lacrosse Association, and a member of the investment committee of the Children’s Theatre Company.
